Gabrielle Pietrangelo is an award-winning singer-songwriter whose evocative voice, poetic storytelling, and distinctive guitar arrangements have made her one of Southern Arizona’s most beloved musical voices. Winner of the 2023 John Lennon Songwriting Contest for her Tucson anthem “Summer Losers,” Pietrangelo has shared the stage and studio with members of Calexico and other celebrated Southwest artists. Her 2025 album, Back to the Heart, culminated in a sold-out release concert at Tucson’s historic Temple of Music & Art, bringing together an expansive ensemble of some of the region’s finest musicians.

Moving between intimate solo performances and lush full-band arrangements, Pietrangelo’s music blends Americana, indie folk, and the atmospheric sounds of the Southwest. Her songs weave personal spirituality and humor with a deep connection to the desert landscape she calls home. A longtime performer, collaborator, and community builder, Pietrangelo has spent years bringing musicians and voices together through harmony ensembles, vocal workshops, collaborative performances, and vocal arrangements for fellow artists.
